Christmas course update

Our course on the morning of the 25th November got so much interest and got filled up so quickly that we are running the same course in the afternoon as well!

From 2PM until 4.30PM we'll show you how to make (and you will be!) wreaths, garlands and table decorations!
The costs are £48 including materials and drinks & nibbles.

After sadly having to postpone all courses earlier in the year due to the many bookings we had for weddings, we are happy to announce that our Christmas course is a go!

We've still got some spaces on the 25th of November from 9.30 AM - 12 noon.

So be quick if you want to learn to make a gorgeous Christmas wreath of a fabulous garland to adorn your home!

Price is £48 per person including materials and light refresments.

Also on a bit of a disappointing note we are suspending the Magpie Academy Courses for the moment.....if there were more hours in the day or days in the week we might be-able to fit it all in.


Our diary has filled up with functions and weddings over the last few weeks and we had to take this decision to avoid disappointing people.


Hopefully at some time in the near future we will start them again.

Wreaths: They are not just for Christmas!!

An alternative look at decorative door wreaths.

As many of you know we at Martin & The Magpie always have a wreath on our door to go with the seasons.

This will teach you the basics of wired or oasis wreaths and let us inspire you  to use a variety of decorative items to make a unique wreath for your door.

All material, flowers, morning coffee or afternoon tea and cake included.

June 10^th 2012 10.30am -3.30pm

For the DIY bride, learn how to make your own bouquet from choosing the flowers to the finishing touches.

Also learn the basics of wiring for buttonholes and corsages plus lots of invaluable ideas from our knowledge of wedding floristry.

All materials and lunch provided.
